Inside our Hong Kong warehouse: how every miner ships in 24 to 72 hours

The first question every serious buyer asks is the same one: how do I know you actually have stock? It's a fair question. The ASIC market has been burned more than once by vendors who take payment and then go quiet for three weeks while they try to source the hardware they claimed was already on a shelf.

So we'll tell you exactly how it works on our end.

The warehouse

The Miner Island operates a dedicated fulfilment facility in Hong Kong. It's not a third-party freight forwarder, it's not a drop-ship arrangement with a factory in Shenzhen, and it's not a virtual address. It's a physical warehouse with physical inventory, physical staff, and physical security.

Hong Kong matters for two reasons. First, it's the cleanest export jurisdiction in Asia for ASIC hardware, clear customs paperwork, reliable courier pickups, no ambiguity about origin documentation. Second, it sits close enough to the manufacturers (Bitmain, MicroBT, Canaan, Goldshell, Iceriver, Elphapex) that restocks land in days, not weeks.

The 24 to 72 hour dispatch window

Here's what actually happens between your payment confirmation and the moment your tracking number arrives:

• Hour 0: Payment confirms. Plisio finalises the on-chain confirmation. Our system locks your unit(s) in inventory immediately so they can't be sold to anyone else while we prep.
• Hour 0 to 6: Pick. Warehouse staff retrieve the exact unit(s) from the rack, match serial numbers against your invoice, and stage them for inspection.
• Hour 6 to 24: Bench check. Every unit gets a quick power-up test before shipping. Not a full 24-hour burn-in (you'll do that yourself), but enough to catch the dead-on-arrival cases before they go in a box.
• Hour 24 to 48: Pack. Original manufacturer packaging plus a reinforced outer carton. Hashboards are seated, fan grilles intact, accessories included. The pre-shipment photo gets logged against your order.
• Hour 48 to 72: Courier pickup. DHL, FedEx, or UPS, whichever has the cleanest routing to your country that day. Tracking lands in your inbox within an hour of pickup.

Bulk orders move on a different track

If you're ordering 100+ units, the process slows down deliberately. We send you timestamped video documentation of the inventory before you pay, full serial numbers visible, model confirmed, quantity confirmed. Why DDP-paid is the headline

Every unit ships DDP-paid: Delivered Duty Paid. That means the price you see on the product page is the price you pay. We absorb the import duties, the customs brokerage fees, and the documentation. Your unit lands at your door without a customs invoice chasing it.

For US, EU, UK, AU, CA, AE, and most of LATAM and Southeast Asia, this is the model. For unusual destinations (some African countries, certain CIS jurisdictions, US sanctioned regions) we'll flag any wrinkles before you pay, never after.

The honest part

We don't hit 24-hour dispatch on 100% of orders. Bank holidays in Hong Kong (especially around Chinese New Year), courier capacity squeezes around Black Friday, and the occasional unit that fails its bench check all push specific orders into the 48 to 72 hour window. When that happens, you hear from us by email, not after you've refreshed the tracking page seventeen times.
